More than 35% growth in a year is something to be proud of and something to be aware of. All the major PC and Laptop manufactures are considering India as their prime hub because there is a hell lot of untapped market.
This market however is slightly different from others. Here the amount of disposable money with the people is increasing but these people need some persuasion to actually go with any products. Most of the times this persuasion comes from the siblings who are more interested in the gaming part of the PC rather than anything else.
This is one of the reasons why most of the companies are employing aggressive marketing strategies along with very smart pricing. Most of the times you would be able to find an advertisement where the kids play a major role with their success in future being the major story background. The pricing also has been done very smartly, just above the budget of the common man so that he can buy it with a little effort.
The trend is expected to be similar in the near future as well.
